Anna Tuori

Thanks Very Fine, 2018
acrylic and oil on board
116 x 110 cm

Painterly gestures have a strong presence in the works of ANNA TUORI (b. 1976). Tuori’s works are characterized by the conflicting nature of their internal emotional states – the blending of innocent, childlike observations, lightness and beauty with a feeling of expectation and threat. Tensions which are difficult to express verbally but which the viewer will recognize and know.
