Salla Tykkä’s video piece Lasso (2000) is on display at Museo Jumex in Mexico City, as part of a group exhibition Ambient Temperature. The exhibition, curated by artist Sofía Táboas, runs through 13 February 2022.

Ambient Temperature presents 35 works from the Colección Jumex, including videos, photographs, installations, and sculptures by renowned international artists. Ambient Temperature considers heat poetically — how it travels through the body, affecting experiences and emotions, against the backdrop of global climate change. Differences in temperatures represented by the works generate transitional spaces, intermediate states, and moments of discrepancy.
