Works by Kari Vehosalo are on view at the Oulu Museum of Art from 29 February to 26 April 2020. The Displaced – The Archaeology of Refugees exhibition examines how people displaced by the Second World War have become accepted or rejected by their new communities, what the process of forced immigration has been like, and what kinds of stories the memory constructs out of it. The exhibition is based on a collaboration of researchers and artists.
