Works by Kristján Gudmundsson, Karoliina Hellberg, Heli Hiltunen and Antti Laitinen are on view at EMMA Espoo Museum of Modern Art as part of Touch: Listening to Silence exhibition.
The Touch is a permanent exhibition presenting works from the Saastamoinen Foundation Collection, and combining Finnish and international art from different eras. The display is periodically refreshed with thematic ensembles offering a variety of perspectives on the human condition and life’s biggest questions. The new section, curated around a painting by Juhani Linnovaara, Listening to Silence (1955), explores inner worlds, whether through people processing past events or traumas, or the joy of play.
