Galerie Anhava is proud to announce that a work by Anna Tuori has been acquired for the collection of the Finnish Cultural Foundation and installed at the newly renovated Mäntyniemi, the official residence of the President of the Republic of Finland.
Mäntyniemi, designed by architects Raili and Reima Pietilä, was originally inaugurated in November 1993. In Mäntyniemi the buildings, grounds, interiors, tableware, and works of art form a carefully considered whole. President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb and his spouse Suzanne Innes-Stubb wished to honour Finnish contemporary art by placing works by 14 artists at Mäntyniemi. The Finnish Cultural Foundation was responsible for the selection of artists and the overall planning of the Mäntyniemi × Contemporary Art project.
