This year at CHART Galerie Anhava presents works by two artists: Kari Vehosalo and Marko Vuokola.

Both artists have an exceptionally clear and distinctive conceptual approach to their art practice, and work with a wide scope of techniques. In their works we find ourselves marveling at an extreme close-up of a detail, and simultaneously becoming aware of the expanding horizon of human existence, desires, and the passage of time.

In the cinema space, as part of the CHART Cinema Programme, we proudly present Airs Above the Ground (2010) by Salla Tykkä, an artist, filmmaker and photographer whose work addresses issues of gaze, power, gender, control and memory.
